Rebecca is a social media content expert and killer copywriter. Her creative specialties include quickly finding the voice of a brand, turning technical jargon into relatable content for everyday people, and crafting public responses to sticky customer questions.

From 2013 – January 2017, she breathed fire into the social voice of Torchy’s Tacos, the Damn Good taco shop founded in 2006 and now operating 40+ locations in Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Torchy’s has been featured in The Huffington Post, Ad Week, USA Today, ESPN.com, Denver Post, Texas Monthly, and more. In March 2016, Torchy’s even received a visit from former POTUS Barack Obama.

An Austinite for most of her life, Rebecca has worked and volunteered for many fantastic organizations including Texas Music Office, The University of Texas, Austin Community College, The Good Music Club, Transmission Events, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Harry Ransom Center, Myongwon Elementary School, and more.

With a master’s degree from the University of Texas’ School of Information, focusing on digital media & content strategy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Texas State University, Rebecca combines a broad skill set with a deep understanding of communication. In between, she explored the globe, flexed her freelance skills, and taught English as a Second Language in Austin, TX and Seoul, South Korea. She has a thing for public transportation, turtles, and Twitter.
